Due to the geographically remote location, it would not have been feasible for the project team to engage such a community in person, while funding constraints would have seen school visits limited to the greater Dublin region. The online pivot meant that an underserved community—in this case a minority-language island community on the Atlantic coast of Europe, where engagement rein space education is significantly less accessible—became the focus of the project team’s efforts.
